Join us for our upcoming Leaders at Lunch program on Tuesday, November 18th from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM at LeTort View Community Center, where we will be honoring the YWCA Carlisle & Cumberland County and the Cumberland County District Attorney's Office for their collaborative efforts against human trafficking and support of its survivors.
In the last three years, the YWCA of Carlisle & Cumberland County has documented about 140 human trafficking cases and are working to build solutions and opportunities for individuals to move out of Human Trafficking and rebuild their lives. The Cumberland County District Attorney’s office created the Human Trafficking Task Force in 2022. Since then, the task force has arrested more than 100 people through human trafficking prosecutions and shut down seven illegal Asian massage parlor operations.
We hope that you will join us to honor these partners who are making a difference in our community!
